BASALT Charts is browser-based futures market analysis software for prop firm and short-term traders. It visualizes price, volume, order flow, market pressure, and market context without placing trades.

No, BASALT is NOT a trading platform. It is intended to be a supplementary tool to provide you with additional insights and analysis related to market data. You cannot place trades in BASALT.

BASALT organizes advanced data through visual hierarchy and layers. Depth, motion, scaling, opacity, and spatial feedback help emphasize changing pressure and volume concentration while secondary context remains available without competing for attention.

No. Paid BASALT plans include real-time exchange market data with rapid tick-based updates over WebSockets. No separate feed subscription, exchange fee setup, API keys, or vendor account is required. Coverage and availability may vary by market or instrument.

BASALT runs directly in your browser with no download required. It works across modern desktop browsers on Mac, Windows, and Linux. For the best experience, use a desktop or laptop with WebGL support, hardware acceleration enabled, and a keyboard and mouse.

Changing plans is easy and can be done anytime in your account settings. Here is how the billing works:

  • Upgrades: Take effect immediately. You only pay the prorated difference for the rest of your current billing cycle.
  • Downgrades: Your current plan remains active until the end of your current billing cycle. The new rate and plan will automatically start when your next billing cycle begins.

Your first subscription payment is covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee. Email support@basaltcharts.com within 7 days of your initial purchase to request a full refund. The guarantee is limited to one refund per customer; renewal payments are not eligible, and you can cancel anytime to prevent future renewals.
